More than just pretty pictures. I strive to capture joyful, genuine, and timeless images of you and your love that you will cherish for years to come.
I love engagement sessions for so many reasons- they allow us to get to form a connection before your wedding day, go to locations that may be unattainable during the wedding, and perhaps most fun, you can push the boundaries on your ordinary look or fashion to make something truly artful and unique (I always love an excuse to get dressed up!)
Though many of my packages have engagement sessions, there's absolutely no reason to only do one if you're recently engaged! They're perfect for the couple who's been together a long time, or even just loves to share the best holiday card.

We were SO anxious for our engagement session...
Until we met with Anne. We instantly clicked, talking with her felt easy.
From suggesting fantastic locations that matched the mood of our upcoming wedding to helping me pair down outfits, she made the entire process seamless. We were nervous we'd be bad at posing, but her guidance felt natural, and we were shocked to find ourselves actually loving being photographed!

Do we have to be engaged? Do we have to have a wedding on-the-books?
As someone who's not engaged but has been with their partner for thirteen years... you do not need to use a major life event as a reason to get portraits done. Period. I don't believe you should do an engagement session "just because" you're engaged, or, that you can't do a couple's session because you're not engaged.
We celebrate love here. Photos are for joy and connection, not for checkboxes.
Absolutely! From a perfect quiet spots to a full romantic private picnic at sunset, I'm happy to capture and help plan your live engagement.
Do you do surprise or live engagements?
How many locations should we choose?
If we're going somewhere like Hartwood Acres that has stunning architecture AND outdoor gardens, one location is perfect! But, if you want to incorporate something sentimental, say the bookstore where you met, it often makes sense to choose another spot with greenspace around it.
The outfit that makes you look most beautiful are the pieces that make you feel the most confident.
I suggest two outfits, one more daily-wear styled, and one more formal and fun.
