Planning a wedding in another city was hard even before COVID-19. With our September 2021 wedding rapidly approaching, my husband and I had a ceremony venue secured, but were ready to throw in the towel on the reception and eat takeout in Schenley Plaza. Meanwhile, Anne messaged countless venues, called various people, and consulted her colleagues to find us a wonderful venue that accommodated our wedding wonderfully.
Anne's meticulous and borderline neurotic approach to photography translates beautifully to wedding planning. Just as she invests time into getting to know you as a couple, she's invested even more into her colleagues in the wedding industry. When she reaches out, people answer. If you're trying to book anything during Covid, you probably know what it's like to feel like you're waving around a check and praying for someone to take it. Delegating work to Anne not only means she's finding someone to take your money, but that she also understands how they fit into your budget, aesthetic, and the tone of your event.
Before you can settle in to digest brunch the next day, you get a sneak peek of your photos. I've already shown them to literally everyone who attended. And some people who didn't. A wedding passes so quickly, but it's so easy to revisit the romance and sentiment of the day with Anne's photos - especially the moments that I missed. It's only been a week since my wedding, but I'm already decided that when I renew my vows, I'm going to work with Anne again.
Tired after a long day of getting married? Anne isn't.
